Note: Ensure you use the Google Chrome browser during installation. Additionally, to make the extension work correctly and take the signature from your MySignature dashboard, your account email, signature email address, and Google account email should be identical. If everything is set up correctly, the MySignature Chrome extension grabs your professional signature and automatically adds it to your email body (not to the Gmail settings).

Also, with the MySignature Chrome extension, you no longer need to manually reinstall your signature to Gmail if you have made any changes to your signature in the MySignature editor because the Chrome extension will automatically update your signature for you.

To install the Chrome extension for Gmail, please watch our video guide provided below:

Or login to your account in MySignature.io using the Chrome browser and follow these steps:

Step 1.
In the Dashboard, hover over the signature you want to install using Chrome extension > click Update signature in extension button.

Step 2.
Next, if you haven't installed an extension, you'll see a new popup window; click Install the extension button.

Step 3.
You will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store; click Add to Chrome. Then, in a new popup window, click Add extension button.

Step 4.
Once the web extension is installed in your browser, click the Extensions icon on the top right corner of Chrome > pin MySignature extension.

Step 5.
Next, click the MySignature extension icon and enter your MySignature credentials or sign in with social media.

Step 6.
Please ensure
the extension is turned on, then click Signatures to open your signatures.

Step 7.
Then, you can click the Signature option in your extension menu to be redirected to your signatures Dashboard; hover over the signature you want to install using Chrome extension > click Update signature in extension button again.

That's it! Now, your signature is installed by default. Next, refresh Gmail and test your signature by composing an email in Gmail and emailing it to yourself, a friend, or a colleague.

If you don't want to continue using the extension, turn it off in Chrome without uninstalling it. To disconnect the extension from the signature, you can hover over the signature, click three dots (More options), and click Disconnect member, or delete the signature from MySignature Dashboard.

Want to install the signature manually to your Gmail without using the extension? Then, follow the guide on how to manually install a signature in Gmail.
