Note: Ensure you use the Google Chrome browser during the installation process. Additionally, to ensure the extension works correctly and retrieves the signature from your MySignature dashboard, your account email, signature email address, and Google account email must be identical. If everything is set up correctly, the MySignature Chrome extension grabs your professional signature and automatically inserts it into your email body (not in the Gmail settings).

With the MySignature Chrome extension, you no longer have to manually reinstall your signature in Gmail whenever you make changes to it in the MySignature editor. The extension will automatically update your signature for you.

How to install the MySignature extension for Chrome?

To install the Chrome extension for Gmail, please watch our video guide provided below:

Or log in to your account in MySignature.io using the Chrome browser and follow these steps:

Step 1.

Step 2.
Next, if you haven't installed an extension, you'll see a new pop-up window; click Install extension button.

Step 3.
You will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store; click Add to Chrome. Then, in a new pop-up window, click Add extension button.

Step 4.
Once the web extension is installed in your browser, click the  Extensions icon on the top right corner of Chrome and pin the MySignature extension.

Step 5.
Next, click the MySignature extension icon and enter your MySignature account credentials (if you are a member, use your MySignature member account credentials).

Alternatively, sign in using your social media account (Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn).

Step 6.
Turn on the Use signature option
in the extension menu.

Step 7.

Next, click the Signature option in the extension menu to be redirected to your Signatures Dashboard in your MySignature account.

Step 8.
Hover over the signature you want to install using the Chrome extension, and click Update signature via extension button again.

That's it! Now, your signature is installed by default. Next, refresh Gmail and test your signature by composing an email in Gmail and emailing it to yourself, a friend, or a colleague.

No longer need the MySignature Chrome extension?

  • If you no longer wish to use the extension, you can turn it off in Chrome without needing to uninstall it. To disconnect the extension from the signature, hover over the signature, click the three dots (More options), and select 'Disconnect member' or delete the signature from the MySignature Dashboard.

  • To completely remove the extension from Chrome, go to the "Manage extensions" option in Chrome settings, or use this link: chrome://extensions/. Then, find and remove the MySignature extension. This will completely remove the extension from your Chrome browser, and it will no longer appear when you access your Gmail account.

Want to install the signature manually in your Gmail without using the extension? Then, follow the guide on how to manually install a signature in Gmail.
