If you have the Gmail app, you can sync your HTML signature from your Gmail web app settings (please check this guide for more details) or install a plain text signature.

In this particular guide, we will show you how to create and install a plain text signature.

Step 1. Create a plain text signature.

To create a plain text signature, you can create a new signature from scratch by clicking New signature button (here is our detailed guide) or duplicate any of your signatures (here is our detailed guide).

Note: Plain text signatures are limited to text-only content and do not support images or hyperlinks. We recommend you include only User Info and Contact Info in this signature version.

For example, this is how a plain text signature can look:

Step 2. Install your signature.

2.1. After creating and saving your signatures, open the signature preview link on your iPhone/iPad, click Copy to clipboard button, or scan a QR code.

2.2. Open the Gmail app by typing its icon on the iPhone.

Step 2.3.

Select your mail account.

Step 2.4.

Then go to the Main Menu.

Step 2.5.
Go to the Settings.

Step 2.6.
Scroll down to the Compose and Reply section, then open Signature Settings.

Step 2.7.

Turn on a default mobile signature, remove the default text from the signature box, and paste your signature into the settings. Next, make sure you don't have any transparent images included in your signature (if you see any, click on three dots and remove them) and click Done.

Congratulations! Now, each email you send from your Gmail app on your iPhone/iPad will include your plain text signature.
