Note: Ensure you have the latest iOS and Gmail app version - 6.0.231127 or later on your iPhone/iPad.
Now, you can watch our video guide for the Gmail app on iPhone or iPad:
Or follow our brief instructions provided below:
Step 1. Set up your email signature in your web-based Gmail.
First, you must set up your email signature in your web-based version of Gmail. Once you have done so, your Gmail app on iPhone/iPad will also automatically use the signature. Here is our detailed guide on how to install a signature on a desktop Gmail account.
Wait a minute for the web-based Gmail server to sync with your mobile device's Gmail app. If you use the Gmail app on iOS 10, your email signature will automatically be added to messages sent from your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2. Turn off the default mobile signature in Gmail app settings.
If you have previously included a Mobile Signature in the options in the Gmail App itself, you need to turn it off. Please follow these steps:
2.1. After creating and saving your signatures, open the signature preview link on your iPhone or iPad, tap the Copy to clipboard button, or scan a QR code.
2.2. Open the Gmail app by typing its icon on the iPhone.
2.3. Select your mail account.
2.4. Then, at the top left, click Main Menu.
2.5. Go to the Settings.
2.6. Scroll down to the Compose and Reply section, then open Signature Settings.
2.7. Turn off a default mobile signature and click Done.
Congratulations! Now, your professional email signature will appear in each email you send from the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad.
